How to Use FTP

If you have files that are larger than 4 megabytes, you should upload them to our server using FTP as it is more suited to handling large files than email. Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) limit the size of files that you can transfer via email but will not limit the size of a file transferred using FTP.

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and is a standard method of transferring large files via the Internet. FTP has been around for a long time and certain programmers have teamed up to provide free "open source" FTP Software. For full instructions on how to download and install it, please click here.
